Winter birds - warm drops of life, with cheerful chirping, as if describing, by their flight, the sharp and frozen lines of grasses and bushes around the house.

The birds in this collection are plastered from dried plants, crushed and strengthened with a glue made of cornstarch, water and vinegar. This glue, spread over a structure of wood pieces, gives the pieces a surprising strength.

From the threads of two varieties of grass, kneaded with glue, I obtained a good mixture for modeling, which I colored with flours from yellow poplar leaves, stevia seeds, garlic peels, walnut shells, carpen seeds, physalis fruits, birch leaves and chestnut leaves.

The eyes are made from reed stalks with a wooden core, and the beaks are also carved from wood, colored and waxed.
