Mărțișor, this small decoration, has been around since ancient times. There are many myths in the Romanian folk culture regarding its origins, while people used to wear it as a lucky charm, a symbol for health, fertility or rebirth.
In our modern days it’s most commonly known as a symbol of spring. The red and white twisted yarns, emphasize the duality of nature, the passing from the austere winter to the blossoming spring.
MIXISOR is a limited edition collection inspired by tradition with a modern twist of antiseptic simplicity: white and red, cross and line, full and empty. The cubes are 3D pixels. From a two dimensional space in a three dimensional one, graphics become objects. Necklaces, bracelets and earrings, light and uncomplicated objects, celebrated spring in the city. The collection was launched on the 1st of March and some pieces are still available in our showroom.
